What is an Aquathlon?   

Adult: 1k swim, 10k run                                                                                          

Adult Short Course: 500m swim, 5K run                                                                                         

Ault Relay: 1k swim, 10k run                                                                                                                 Junior distances                                                                                                                                       12yrs & under: 300m swim, 3k run                                                                                                              13-16yrs: 500m swim, 5k run                                                                                                               Junior Relay: 300m swim, 3k run                                                                                                            Great for swimmers who run, runners who swim and triathletes who want to do different kinds of competitions and training before their main events. 
 
  • Make it a hard training day in preparation for the season
  • Practice your swim and run
  • Work on your transition
  • Do it all in a competitive atmosphere

Note: All three races will be sanctioned by Tri BC. You will be required to be a Tri BC member to participate in those races. You will be able to purchase a one day membership ($15 - adult,    $5 - junior) for each race. There will be no extra fees for current Tri BC members (you will have to show a current Tri BC membership ID card).                                                                                         For more information on Tri BC membership please visit: www.tribc.org  

Series?                                                                                                                                                       There are two races in the series. The total points (based on placing in each race) will be added up and the participant with the most points in both races will be the winner of the Series - Female and Male categories.  

You can also register for only one or two races of your choice.  

 

Registration Fees
Adults      Early: $25      Late: $50     Two: $45     Tri BC one day fee: $15 per event
Juniors     Early: $20      Late: $40     Two: $35    Tri BC one day fee: $5 (16-19yrs)                            $1 (15 yrs and under) per event

Relay (Junior and Adult) - add $5 to the above shown fees  Tri BC one day fee: $6 per event per team member

Late registration starts on Saturday one week before each event.

Refund deadline: Friday, two days before each event at 5:00 pm

Race Day Registration available - add $5 to Late fees

 

All races start at 8:00AM (adults individual & relay); Juniors - 12yrs & under & Junior Relay - 8:30AM; 13 - 16yrs - 8:35AM

Race Package pick-up                                                                                                                                    Package pick-up will only be available on the day of the event.

Awards Ceremony, Results

Awards ceremony will be held approximately one hour after the last participant

has completed the race. The full results will be posted on this web site on the first Tuesday after each event.
