Event / Notes
Schools will earn points for each team entered in the event. The points will be awarded based on the final results list.
The more teams your school entered the greater the chance of winning the Elementary, Middle and High School Challenge Cup. The Cup will be awarded on a yearly basis to the school with the highest number of points. The Cup will be returned to TRIO Sport Events the following year to be defended or passed on to the next years' winning school.
The individual event participants (all three events done alone) will not contribute to the School Challenge points total. They will be placed and scored in their individual age category.

Each team member must sign the waiver form (Parent / Guardian for athletes under 19 yrs of age).
The teacher or parent must sign your team's Registration Form; this will be considered as confirmation that your team represents your school and that minimum two of the team participants are from the same school.
This is a Relay Team event with three or two team participants. Each person on your team does one leg of the race (swim, bike, run) or in the event where you only have two team members one person will need to do two legs of the race (typically one person swims and runs and one person bikes).
Note: At minimum two team participants must be from the same school to qualify this team for the School Challenge event.
Relay and Individual option
If the Relay Team member would like to do the race as individual (all three legs of the race alone) participant - it is possible.
Here are the details how to do it:
Individual participants
The students who will only do the race as individual participant and will NOT be part of any school relay team will need to register separate following the guidelines outlined on the Creek Classic Triathlon & Duathlon main page for individual participants. They should NOT use the School Challenge registration form to register for their event. Those students will start their event with the individual category (times outlined on the triathlon's main page) and NOT with their school's teams.
